exceptional. Rick had us all engaged with the facts we would have never known. His ability to describe things in laymen's terms was outstanding. Well worth the ride.

A great calm afternoon with guide Steve P educating our group like a professional teacher. Lots of interesting facts about the fault and the effect of the earth’s plates as they move. Must wear good hiking footwear for the slot canyon hikes to enjoy them to the fullest. Well organized with water and snacks and a fun ride in the open air jeep of past days. Highly recommend this experience to appreciate the Coachella Valley views as well.

Amazing tour with Travis Nolan. Informative, interactive, and fun. Learned so much about the fault, palm trees and the life cycle, history of the Cuihilla Indians and a recreation of a village , and also the rock formations, canyons, local wildlife and plant life. Plenty of water available and granola bars. At the end Travis even took some time to give us some amazing local tips for eating, golfing and visiting Joshua Tree. Truly a top notch experience.

My wife and I had an amazing time learning about the geology, flora, fauna, history, and cultural significance of the land as well as explored the fault line with four different hikes! Our tour guide, Gary, was great!!

Lots of great information and beautiful scenery. The jeep ride was pretty smooth. My family ranged from 15yrs-73yrs and all had a good time.

My son and I took this tour because we never understood our local geology, despite being here for a few years. Sarah, a former National Park Ranger, is an excellent guide and good driver, sharing lots of geologic knowledge in a friendly and casual way. The slot canyon walk is not too challenging and is very dramatic, esp. after rainstorms. We went in the morning when it was crisp, warmed up later. She gave us sun block, yummy snacks and waters, and included a couple of good bathroom breaks. Even if I had a 4 wheel drive vehicle, I would prefer to pay for someone else to drive on these rutty, rocky trails! Definitely worth it, got photos that make us look like Indiana Jones.

Great adventure! Our guide was very informative. We learned a lot about the San Andreas fault line, the desert plants, animals, and how the Native Americans used these natural resources to survive and thrive. He tailored our experience to far exceed our expectations. Be prepared for a fun hike through a desert oasis, a Native American village, and a narrow canyon. Wear hiking boots.

San Andreas Fault Jeep Tour is fascinating. You would think its just a desert, but Jenny made the tour an amazing experience. Totally geeked out on geology and Jenny was filled with local facts and explanation on how the area and San Andreas Fault coexist. The Jeep tour is a definite must do.
